Workplace Fairness acknowledges Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) and offers screening and virtual panel discussion on documentary Nevertheless.

Did you know that nearly 3 out of 4 workplace sexual harassment or assault incidents go unreported and, if reported, almost 55% of victims experience retaliation as a result?

The statistics are alarming. While strides have been made to protect workers against these occurrences, it has never been more important to be aware of your workplace rights. Learn how to identify sexual harassment and other inappropriate conduct here.

Nevertheless takes us behind the headlines of #MeToo and Time’s Up to shed light on how we need to shift our culture and rebuild when it comes to protecting folks at work and beyond. The documentary follows the intimate stories of seven individuals who have experienced sexual harassment in the workplace or at school, and includes interviews with a writer's assistant on a top TV show, a Tech CEO and 911 dispatcher.

The virtual panel, moderated by employment lawyer Paige Fiedler, will feature the film's director, Sarah Moshman, Principal Researcher at Me Too International Professor Elena Ruiz and former National Women's Soccer League player Sinead Farrelly.

The Nevertheless documentary details the injustices that victims of sexual harassment at work and beyond experience while also giving us the resolve to commit ourselves to creating a world of empathy, fair treatment and inclusiveness. Sexual harassment that goes unchecked leaves victims vulnerable and should have no place in the way we treat one another."
