Workplace Fairness Announces Long-Time Supporter Joins Organization’s Board of Directors

WASHINGTON (May 12, 2020) –Workplace Fairness is pleased to announce the election of new board member, Shannon Rusz, Esq. “Our newest Board member embodies the spirit of Workplace Fairness, and she brings valuable skills, knowledge and enthusiasm to the organization. We are very fortunate Shannon has joined us in a Board of Director role,” said Edgar Ndjatou, Executive Director of Workplace Fairness.

The Workplace Fairness Board of Directors comprises professionals from the nonprofit and for-profit sector who are dedicated to the organization’s mission of workers’ rights advocacy. Serving on the Workplace Fairness Board of Directors is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual who is passionate about advocating for workers’ rights.

Shannon Rusz, Esq. is Managing Attorney at Rusz Legal Services in Annapolis, Maryland. Rusz has been associated with Workplace Fairness since 2009. Between 2014-2019 she worked as a Content Manager, and then served as the Acting Executive Director in an expanded role, overseeing operations and working with the board to execute Workplace Fairness’ mission.

Rusz received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and her J.D. degree from The George Washington University Law School. Her accomplishments and activities include Maryland Program for Mediator Excellence, Anne Arundel County Bar Association, Maryland Bar Association and Chesapeake Women's Network.
