WASHINGTON (Nov. 5, 2021) – National nonprofit Workplace Fairness advocates for workers' rights and provides resource pages for workers about their rights. In the USA, the national minimum wage was created by Congress to provide for minimum wages, overtime pay, recordkeeping requirements and child labor regulations. The purpose was to stabilize the economy and protect workers in the labor force.The Minimum Wage - Workplace Fairness page explains what minimum wage is and how it might affect you.
