Workplace Fairness Announces Its “Lift Every Voice” Campaign for Black History Month

Workplace Fairness is #1 Most Comprehensive Online Resource for Information About Workplace Rights

WASHINGTON (February 2, 2021) –Workplace Fairness is pleased to announce its “Lift Every Voice” campaign to celebrate Black History month in February. With an informative webinar, an awareness initiative around discrimination in the workplace and a fundraising effort to support our continued work, individuals can join us in our efforts to protect all workers nationwide.

Join us for the Webinar

On February 4, 2021, from 12:30pm-1:30pm EST, employment lawyers Andrew Melzer and Whittney Barth will discuss their research on whether employees can be fired for participating in peaceful protests. Thisarticle explores whether employees fired for engaging in peaceful protests would have a valid legal action for wrongful termination, and examines potential legal avenues for bringing such a claim. Ultimately, the answer may depend on whether the individual is a public or private employee and where the individual lives and works. Register today for the webinar!

Learn about our Awareness Initiative
Workplace Fairness will provide a series of social media posts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn,  related to topical issues related to race discrimination. Individuals also can visit the Workplace Fairness website to learn more about these important topics.
